Overview

Patient care that’s built to go

As healthcare technology continues to evolve, mobile access is revolutionizing the way care is delivered. No longer tethered to workstations or even mobile carts, clinicians now have anywhere, anytime access to patient data on mobile devices, which represents a tremendous opportunity to increase efficiency, productivity, and the quality of care.

At the same time, medical imaging technology has evolved significantly from the first proprietary viewing stations to web-enabled PACS with remote viewing capabilities.

GE Healthcare is on the leading edge of integrating these two technology trends with Centricity Radiology Mobile Access — a breakthrough offering in the mobile category that gives clinicians unprecedented access to Centricity PACS images and reports.

Providing mobile access to the broadest range of modalities, Centricity Radiology Mobile Access can help enhance efficiency for clinicians and radiologists throughout — and beyond — your facility with the AccessNOW application for Apple iOS and Android mobile devices.

Imaging IT - Centricity Radiology Mobile Access

Benefits

Mobile access to PACS images and reports represents a fundamental shift in how healthcare can be delivered.

From a clinician reviewing an imaging series at the bedside, to a radiologist providing a consultation on a complex case while miles away mobile access to images means more efficient healthcare delivery.

Centricity Radiology Mobile Access allows clinicians and radiologists to quickly find relevant images and reports through the AccessNOW app, which provides the ability to search Centricity PACS by:

  • Patient Name
  • Patient ID
  • Accession Number
  • Modality
  • Date Range

Once the image is displayed on the mobile device, AccessNOW provides 2D, 3D, and MIP/MPR capabilities. It allows the user to scroll, set W/L, zoom, and pan.
