Carrie Eglinton Manner is the President and CEO of GE Healthcare’s Detection & Guidance Solutions, a $3 billion business with 3,000 employees based around the globe. This business specializes in advanced X-Ray technologies that span the continuum of healthcare – from screening and diagnostics to enabling intervention and therapy. The product portfolio encompasses Radiography & Fluoroscopy, Mammography, Bone Densitometry, Surgery C-arm and Interventional X-Ray systems with the purpose of touching the world with earlier answers and more hope to improve health and extend life.
Carrie’s career with GE Healthcare spans multiple product portfolios, functions, and business environments. Prior to her current role, Carrie was President and CEO of GE Healthcare's Surgery C-arm business and Clarient diagnostic pathology laboratory services business. In addition to these leadership roles in diagnostic imaging and life sciences, Carrie was President of Maternal Infant Care business , where she significantly expanded global reach of innovative neonatal intensive care units (NICU) and labor and delivery medical equipment.
Prior roles for Carrie include leading Service for the Surgery team, managing the Americas sales and marketing teams for GE Healthcare’s largest acquisition, Amersham Life Sciences’, and global pricing leader for the Molecular Imaging portfolio. Carrie is a certified Six Sigma quality black belt with experience focused on improving commercial effectiveness. She began her career with GE Healthcare as a sales account manager for diagnostic imaging radiology.
Carrie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, serves as Chair for Thrive Networks Board of Directors and is passionately involved in STEM and GE Women’s Network programs. Carrie, her husband and two children live outside Milwaukee, WI and enjoy all activities that take them outdoors, especially when sports-related.
